the forum provides some excellent perspectives about how to reject not just food monotony but
the domination of agro-business food monopolies imposed on farmers and rural populations.
My question - was their discussion on how to get governments to make healthy food a priority as part of a nutrition programme integrated into public health ie Ministries of Health and the Ministries of Agriculture.?
A lot of the government officials there were either from the Ministry of Agriculture or Ministry of Social Development so I didn't see any official/public conversations with Ministry of Health officials but I do know this is an ongoing discussion in many countries so the ministries and their work aren't siloed.
A much needed post, I’m glad to be able to “be there” through your eyes (and words)!
Thank you!
Thank you Thin. Very accurate and very nice to read reporting!
